Outreach
.
For generations, St. David’s parishioners have made generous contributions to the local community and to the world. Many parishioners individually contribute countless hours and generous funding through a variety of local, national, and international service and relief ministries. As a Christian faith community we have supported some ongoing ministries which you will see listed at the bottom of this page.

The newly reconstituted Outreach Committee of St. David's meets at noon on the first Tuesday of every month from September to May over a brown bag lunch in the Wicker Room in the church building. We discuss and plan for upcoming Outreach events both within our own church buildings and to the outside community.

We welcome each person who feels so called, to join in joyful anticipation of where God might be leading as we seek ways to live out the Great Commandment, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your mind, and with all your soul,” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

► NEWER PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVES

GRAND OAKS:  Volunteers from St. David's conduct the 11:00 am worship service at Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence at 5901 MacArthur Boulevard (the corner of MacArthur Boulevard and Loughboro Road) on the fourth Sunday of every month.  Volunteers assist the St. David's clergy in reading lessons and prayers, serving communion and playing the piano.  It is a wonderful opportunity to worship in an intimate chapel setting with our neighbors at Grand Oaks.
